We were visiting the city and spending some time with family who recommended this place, and we’re so glad we stopped here! I ordered the pepperoni pizza and it was honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. My boyfriend got the mac and cheese and said it was one of the most amazing meals he’s had as well. My mom ordered the burger and loved it so much that she didn’t even want to try anyone else’s food because she was so focused on finishing her own!! Sky was our server, and everything was smooth from start to finish. Sky was incredibly friendly and helped make the whole experience enjoyable. The food was amazing, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere was great. The bathrooms were clean, the team seemed happy and welcoming, and we really appreciated being able to sit on the patio with our dog. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back if we’re in the city again. Highly recommend!
We made reservations so no wait, would recommend making reservations as they were busy. The atmosphere was lively but still enjoyable. The food was delicious, very flavorful, we highly recommend the smash burger, sour dough pizza and their homemade ice cream. The staff were all extremely kind and welcoming.
Great experience at Vaughn's 1000 Spirits. Our waiter Connor was outstanding — some of the best service we've had in a long time. I got the gaucho sandwich (fantastic) and my wife had the pepperoni pizza (really good). The hotel gave us a free appetizer card so we tried the hummus dip, which was excellent. On top of all that, they sent us home with some of their sourdough pasta — can't wait to cook it up. Already looking forward to coming back.
I’ve been a regular here for a while and just never got around to leaving a review. My husband and I frequently get takeout here because we live in downtown and can rely on the consistency and quality of the food. While dining today, I was really impressed by the level of care and service that prompted me to leave this review. You can tell the staff here are trained and the guest experience is something they pride themselves on. I love Von’s and will always come back. 🤍
I have been in Seattle for almost 10 days and this is by far the best meal I have had since being here. We started out with the calamari. It was tender and delicious. Then I had the seafood stew. My coworkers had the smash burger, the Goucho, and the pasta. Everything looked and tasted delicious! Our server was great too!
Pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! I haven’t tried all the fish and chips in the city, but this is a contender for one of the best. Perfectly fried, not too greasy, super flaky fish inside. Would definitely come back just for that. The mac and cheese is also a fun dish, made from their special sourdough pasta? Creamy, cheesy, and a fun shape. The burger was also a solid option. Good for groups, great for lunch or dinner. Faves: fish and chips, mac and cheese, burger. Yesterday, my husband and I made the trip from Tacoma to Seattle to dine at Vons 1000 spirits. This was the first time that we were able to get out in almost 9 months since we had a baby and it was one of the best experiences I could’ve asked for. We didn’t make a reservation and we went around 6 PM. Our wait time was probably no longer than 15-20 minutes, which is actually really quick for any restaurant downtown Seattle. It would be a good idea at the busy times to make a reservation, but we didn’t have any issues. The hosts were amazing and kind. We were sat in the back area at first at table in the middle, but the host and our server moved us to a window seat, which l was very thankful they put the extra thought in to us to make our experience better. The food was absolutely amazing and our waiter made our experience even better. His name was Chris R. He was kind and very upbeat and easy to converse with. He checked on us frequently and we didn’t have to wait long for food or service. It was so quick! He even let us finish our appetizers first before bringing us our entree, which I really appreciated it because it gave us time to appreciate the meals. His upbeat personality was definitely the cherry on top of our entire experience and I’m very grateful that the restaurant seems to have a very family like work relationship and the employees seem to love their job as much as we loved our food and experience. We did the 1/2 clams, the calamari, the Bahn Mi sandwich and a delicious pasta. Thank you to our waiter Chris R and all of the staff for making our first date night out a great experience. We highly recommend this restaurant!
This was my first meal in Seattle, and lets just say it was probably the best way to start off my trip. The seating outdoors was very nice, and our waitress was helpful and kind. The sourdough pizza and pasta were great. I would recommend the Roasted Eggplant Hummus as an appetizer, along with the Cherry Bomb Pizza and the Northwest King Salmon Pasta. You can really taste how much better both the pizza and pasta are since they're made with their 75-year old sourdough starter. It's also in a good location with a decent proximity to the waterfront. I would definitely recommend coming here.
Fantastic food! And it came quick. Everything was great, but the burger and fries were some of the best I've had. My husband said his pizza was the best he's had in his life as well, and I agree, very tasty. Pasta was flavorful and worth getting, but I am not the biggest fan of al dente. Our server was on it with every need, and the drinks were on point. Really glad we came across this place.
This review seems LONG overdue. I love Vons! Every time I travel to Seattle, I always come here at least once. Food and drinks are amazing. The pasta and sourdough are all handmade. The staff are always super lovely. This restaurant is always busy so make sure to add yourself to the waitlist ahead of time!
